12x17 Epson Archival Print ~ Numbered Edition ~ $200.00 plus sales tax

Photographed December 2004
East Carmel Valley

This composition is the perfect metaphor for my transition from high contrast images to softer images, which took place throughout the creation of this portfolio beginning in 2003. The barbed wire fence represents my tether between where I was and where I wanted to go artistically, ending with the soft silhouette of the oak tree. This photo epitomizes the influence of friend and photographer David Gubernick who was holding an umbrella over me while I shot it.
