12x18 Epson Archival Print ~ Numbered Edition ~ $200.00 plus sales tax

Photographed February 2004
McCluskey Slough

The reflection of the sky drifting by across a puddle caught my attention. Then I saw a small lone post slumping over in the surrounding thick mud creating the illusion of a sky overhead, not reflected below. This composition is symbolic of the earth gently consuming the things of man over an expanse of time at least equal to, if not greater than, our own lifetime. McCluskey Slough is situated between Highway 1 north of Elkhorn Slough and Zmudowski State Beach.
