12x13 Epson Archival Print ~ Numbered Edition ~ $200.00 plus sales tax

Photographed May 2004
Lamar River, Yellowstone National Park

The tree located center right seemed animated due to its asymmetry and the direction of the rushing river. The wind was also blowing hard through the trees. The water and wind were the only things audible and they seemed deafening. Whenever I can, I try to find Z-patterns in nature which is what initially brought me to that bend in the river. A bright, slightly overcast morning combined with infrared film made the treetops subtly glow.
