Jason Overton, Musician

Jason Overton is a San Francisco folk singer songwriter originally from Dallas, and now in Nashville. Jason commissioned Steve Zmak to photograph him in a number of California  country settings that included historic buildings in Monterey and Fort Ord Public Land in the heart of Steinbeck Country (now Fort Ord National Monument). Jason and his song are comic and whimsical as he blends country roots with urban themes. These photos were used on Jason’s website and cover of his second CD, Live Oak.

This 8-hour shoot for San Francisco musician Jason Overton took place at 1 Fort Ord and 3 Monterey locations to give him a variety of photography for publicity. This one was used on a CD cover.
