Malibu is the birthplace of kite surfing. It’s amazing the speed and control achieved from just a little ocean breeze. I narrowed the view from my friend’s north Malibu condo to 2°, framed with the neighbor’s palm tree 1/8th mile away, and snapped over 50 shots before these surfers finally crossed in just the right place in my composition. Wildlife photography involves a lot of patience.
