Salinas Beached Two
• Salinas River State Beach, Monterey Bay, California • April 2001
There are a few myths and legends about how this iron barge got beached at the mouth of the Salinas River at the edge of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Regardless of its origin, its an interesting barnacle-covered, bird nesting, wave blocking feature to photograph now. Part 2 of a triptych.
