Traveling Highway 116 from Healdsburg to Jenner through the Russian River Valley, I happened upon this old truck parked just a few feet off the highway in front of a small barn. Debate still rages over it being a 1925 Ford or 1927. The tonal effect applied to this image reverses the light and dark grays while leaving the white, black and mid grays unchanged, blending the 5 tonal ranges. For Adobe Photoshop users this is called a Z-Curve in the Curves dialog box.
